Adjustment

Setting or adjustment of an item of testing or measuring equipment to minimize the systematic measurement deviation. Adjustment involves intervention in the item of testing or measuring equipment.

Aerosol

An aerosol is understood to be the physical state of colloidally dispersed extremely small particles that are suspended or only apparently dissolved in a gaseous medium. A distinction is made between dust aerosols (solid/gaseous) and mist aerosols (liquid/gaseous)).

Air change index

Specifies how often the room air volume per hour is exchanged completely via the ventilation supplying the room.

Air condition

Characterized by the temperature, humidity and pressure. The air velocity is also often added.

Air conditioning technology

The task of air conditioning technology is to establish and maintain a required room climate with the aid of air conditioning and cooling measures.
